Baby’s Bedroom
Peter and I took a little time today to snap a few photos of his bedroom.
Here are two photos of the well dressed man.
Three photos of the bedroom. When we look at the work that went into putting this room together we see a dresser from the Knutson farm in South Dakota, a rocking chair and ottoman from Craigslist, a barnyard theme and many pieces given as gifts from family, a crib built with the help of Rockler Woodworking and the Hamlin Workshop, a basket full of stuffed animals given as gifts from many wonderful friends and a painting from a Pacific Northwest artist. Peter has already received the love of so many friends and family. We are grateful for all of the help in putting his room together.
Here are three shots of the dresser/changing table. Trust us, this is the quietest that Peter has ever been on the changing table. It is not his favorite place to be. The painting is from artist, Brett Varney, of British Columbia. We found this piece at the Edmonds art festival and it fit our barnyard theme perfectly. Unsolicited recommendation - we really like his work and more of it can be found at www.brettvarney.com.
Finally, here is Peter in his crib and on the rocking chair. He certainly has lots of room to grow.
