July 15th, 2010 Posted in Baby News, PicturesHappy Bastille Day and welcome to the world, Michael Andrew Knutson.
Michael was born yesterday at 5:46pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 2oz and 20 1/4 inches long. Here are some pics of the proud parents, brother and grandparents. More to come as aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents get to meet Michael in the coming days.
Peter was born in a small hospital with five rooms for delivery and recovery. St. Joseph’s is a bit bigger with 16 delivery rooms and 44 recovery rooms. Beyond that the experiences were remarkably similar. Oops. Lani is telling me that is not the case - other differences included minor things like being induced rather than going into labor at a neighbor’s house; a gap in the flowing of the epidural created more pain for mommy than desired; Peter was born in WA and Michael in WI; so other than that Lani is willing to concede that things were very similar.

Great pictures! Thanks for posting them so quickly. It’s pretty cute to see how excited Peter is. We are eager to meet the little guy.

Congratulations Tim and Lani! What a little sweetheart, Michael is! The pics of the two brothers together is so precious. Take care and we will look forward to seeing more pics of little Michael and big brother, Peter.
